Shararka Nuby simply wanted to improve her figure, and in an effort to do so, paid Oneal Morris hundreds of dollars with inject her with an at home concoction that Morris promised would enhance her buttock, hips, thighs and breasts. Instead, Morris’ concoction killed her. The medical examiner stated that Nuby died from “‘massive systemic silicone migration,’ as a consequence of cosmetic silicone injections.
Morris, who often wore scrubs when she visited her “patients” at their homes in an effort to be perceived as a medical professional, injected clients with ” a dangerous mixture of products including mineral oil, rubber cement, Fix-a Flax and caulk. Nuby told friends and relatives that her body had become hard and hot at the site of the injections and that her skin was now black. Nuby told the Florida Department of Health that she had been injected about ten times between 2007 and 2011.
Morris, who is known as “The Duchess” has been charged in two counties for injecting people with a toxic concoction, three counts of practicing medicine without a license, and one count of manslaughter for Nuby’s death. Morris has denied the allegations. However, Morris was arrested in Miami-Dade County on similar charges late last year.
