A pregnant central Florida woman died after another driver pulled out in front of her and caused a serious car accident near St. Cloud. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Kristen Nicole Wright, twenty-three, was travelling on U.S. 192 around St. Cloud early Thursday morning. As she approached an intersection, a seventeen-year-old girl failed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign and crossed into the intersection.
The girl’s vehicle crashed into Wright’s car, causing it to flip over. Wright was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The other vehicle’s driver and her eighteen-year-old female passenger were both transported to hospitals with serious injuries. No charges have been filed at this time, but the crash remains under investigation. Alcohol did not appear to play a role in the accident.
